The experiences I have had in my life and career over the past 30 years, from raising 2 children single-handedly for 12 years, to almost going bankrupt in 1997 and spending 10 years clawing my way back to zero whilst retaining my dignity and leading a fulfilling and purposeful life, to working in 2 major multinational banks in M&A and private equity in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Hong Kong, West and East Coasts USA, to starting up 2 leisure businesses and then successfully selling one and floating the other on AIM (and its still there!), being involved in the sale or purchase of over 30 businesses, raising money for many businesses including 3 I started from scratch, creating alliances and joint ventures, building teams, launching new products, opening offices in the USA, France, Australia from a UK base, plus mentoring over 60 of the worlds top business leaders since starting Merryck & Co. I have accrued considerable “miles on the clock” and as well as some stunning successes have had a few failures and near disasters.

I pull all of this together and act as a consultant to some enlightened business leaders as well as their organisations and top teams.

I also have an awesome network of top rated specialist consultants and gurus that I have worked with and can bring in on an as needed basis to help with almost all of the problems and issues that clients have thrown at me over the years.

Available on a daily fee basis or on a retainer basis, clients can ask me to get involved on a project by project or ad hoc basis or just to have me around on a retainer to live my personal credo of “make yourself useful”.
