Joy Le Fevre

Joy works with systems developed in the East over thousands of years to explore a person’s deep elemental make-up.

She identifies the factors which are ingrained in us from the start of our lives and which predispose us to react in certain ways to life’s challenges and experiences. Unconsciously, these factors can influence us, unhelpfully, to repeat mistakes and perform at less than our peak potential. Once diagnosed, they can be seen as ‘the loose bricks in the building’ which, when corrected, make the whole structure sound and secure.

In a powerful adjunct to David’s holistic approach, Joy works to bring physical, mental, spiritual and emotional balance to clients. Those benefitting from this deep constitutional treatment report feeling ‘more like myself for the first time in ages’ and ‘like a new, improved me’.

Joy uses Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture to help bring a person to full potential and peak performance. An assessment is made during one of David’s new client retreats. Clients can then choose to work with Joy on an on-going basis to help them not only find the missing gear in their gear box – but to sustain peak performance at a higher level of capability.

Joy is a first class science graduate of Oxford University, a qualified teacher and a business consultant with over 20 years experience in strategic counselling. She has worked with entrepreneurs and senior executives of leading blue-chips and has founded, built and sold her own business. She has a passion for seeking the heart of a problem – and for using targeted insight to fix it.

Her second degree is in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the prestigious College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council. She incorporates this powerful therapeutic modality into her business counselling to ‘drive the cognitive process of counsel to a cellular level, thereby effecting profound changes in performance and well-being’.

Joy lives in Oxford and London. She coordinates events and Continuing Professional Development activities for practitioners across Oxfordshire and is active in the integration of acupuncture services within the NHS. She is also involved in encouraging entrepreneurship among school children and is part of OBX, the Said Business School’s ‘dragon’s den’ initiative for local schools.
