Shalini founded E2Exchange in 2011. Its mission is to help build and foster the future high impact entrepreneurs of the UK by providing one place, under one umbrella organisation, where entrepreneurs come to grow their businesses by connecting with fellow entrepreneurs, sourcing investment, finding NEDs and accessing world class corporate services. E2E Invest, the fundraising arm of E2E, focuses on securing early stage capital for high growth businesses. E2E Exec, the recruitment arm sources high calibre directors for its members. E2E’s Board includes Sir Richard Branson, Luke Johnson, Brent Hoberman, Lord Bilimoria CBE, DL and Duncan Bannatyne OBE and David CM Carter.  It’s corporate partners include LDC, UBS & Cavendish Corporate Finance and it’s Members include global and fast growth entrepreneurs.

Shalini was an Investment Director at LDC the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group and led LDC’s off-market origination network; The LDC Opportunity Club. Shalini joined LDC from Lloyds Banking Group where she ran the Group’s 'plain vanilla' International Trade Finance business whilst chairing the Lloyds TSB’s Emerging Leaders, programme.

Prior to working for Lloyds TSB, Shalini along with three former Managing Directors of Deutsche Bank, set up the world’s first online 'bank to bank' trade finance company. She was a management accountant at Deutsche Bank and has worked in various finance related roles for Bankers Trust, Natwest Bank and Coopers & Lybrand.

Shalini is also a Director on the Development Board of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, was a judge for IBM Smartcamp and is a Champion for Tech London Advocates. She is a columnist for Real Business Magazine and London Loves Business. Shalini is also an Executive Board Director of the UKBAA and an Advisory Board Director for the Centre of Entrepreneurs
